Small cozy basement bar not far from the main train station. About 2/3 of the beers are Danish, the rest are mostly quality beers from Germany and Belgium.

The main reason this pub is listed is because I like the sign in front. So much that I use it has the title picture. The pub itself is a small, smokey local pub. They do have a couple of interesting beers and some worthwhile bottles. Right next to the main train station.


Eclectic mix of mostly decent beers, with Danish craft beer among the 10 taps. Big selection of British and Belgian bottled beers.


Tap room for the Kølsters brewery. Sandwiches and other light snacks available. Name means "Twelve Taps."


A Mikkeller Taqueria -- the concept of Ramen to Biiru applied to Mexican street food.

Despite it's name the Lord Nelson specializes in Danish beer. Nelson shelled Copenhagen and destroyed the Danish fleet in the harbor. Sort of like opening a pub called the General Sherman in Savannah, Georgia. Allows smoking but non-smoking on Monday and Friday before 10pm.


Twice the taps as the original Mikkeller Bar and maybe three times the space. Mikkeller beers and plenty of guests. The bottle shop is now a separate pub, Koelschip.

Locals pub off the main street in the ground floor of an apartment block. Mostly Danish craft beer with the odd German and American beer in the mix.

Modern brewery/brewpub in old factory building with lots of exposed brick and steel beams. The new BRAW bar in the basement has beers from their experimental brand (BRAW) and some guests and is definitely worth a visit.
